This book deals with the Normas de Castelló or Normas of 32, and in accordance to the agreement achieved by a group of Valencians coming from different origins which met in Castellón, in the seat of the Sociedad Castellonense de Cultura, in 1932, with the purpose of reaching an agreement about the standardization of Valencian. The word Catalan is not mentioned, but actually the Normas are an adaptation of the book the Ortographic Norms of 1913 of the Instituto de Estudios Catalanes.
