According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the term "obstetric violence" refers to practices and behaviors developed by health professionals towards women during pregnancy that, through action or omission, are violent or can be perceived as such. Thus, the book addresses, from a feminist perspective, the goal of making this violence more visible through intersectional dialogue.
With the aim of exploring, debating, and ultimately eradicating the concept in the future, this work is published, consisting of 10 articles, which approach the issue from different angles and fields to provide a comprehensive perspective.
