La Plana in Roman era, due to its fertility and strategic situation experienced an intenstive romanization as we can deduce thanks to the remained materials that have been arriving. Although just a few are conserved and since now there have not been researches, taking into account La Plana's evident relation with the ancient city of Saguntum as the great wealthy agriculture of the lands, the testimonies of the romanization, although incompleted and dispersed, allow to create a great refresh of what its was the introduction of the extensive agriculture, represented by the roman system of the exploitation of the farming words, focused on what has been called system of the roman village.
