The evolution of institutionalism and political pratices presented in the formation of the State and the republican system in Central America in the years 1810-1838 are tackled in this book. The study of two provinces-state permits to observe similarities and diferentes of a political praxis where provincial elites resisted a centralizing power and during the monarchical crisis inserted themselves into the constitutional monarchical system. Finally, the fragile political link broke and unitarian republics appeared.
