Professionally, Leonor Serrano Pablo was an inspector of primary schools who worked between 1914 and 1939, mainly in Barcelona. Ideologically, however, the authors who have written about her place her in a radical feminist position. Politically, she was openly involved in a progressive party and in education, she introduced European innovations in childhood education and professional training (especially for women) in Catalonia. She lived in a culturally, socially and politically dynamic age like few others in the history of Spain.
